CELL PHONES FOR
SOLDIERS
The Military
Officers Association of America (MOAA) Narragansett Bay Chapter is sponsoring
the Cell Phones for Soldiers Program.
The goal of the program is to collect used or retired cell phones which
are turned into prepaid phones for our deployed soldiers. Each retired phone translates into 60
minutes of free talk time for our soldiers and their families.
Donation boxes
can be found at the following locations: Belmont Market, 600 Kingstown Road,
Wakefield; Maury Loontjens Memorial Library, 35 Kingstown Road, Narragansett;
South Kingstown Town Library, 1057 Kingstown Road, Peace Dale; The Westerly
Armory, Railroad Avenue, Westerly; South County YMCA, 165 Broad Rock Road,
Peace Dale; American Legion Post # 15, Main Street, East Greenwich; Beacon
Diner, South County Trail, East Greenwich; Briarbrook Farm and Greenhouse,
South County Trail, East Greenwich; St. Luke’s Church, East Greenwich and
electric Boat, North Kingstown.
